Methods
Exceptional Acupuncture
“My treatments are based on Classical Chinese Medicine and the Balance Method. Drawing on my knowledge of Classical Chinese Medicine, I develop my own treatment strategies and choose the points. At times I also use strategies from the Balance Method. I usually needle acupuncture points away from the site of pain or injury. I treat the patient, not the disease.”

Supporting medical cupping
Cupping is an add-on treatment that uses specially designed suction cups to create a vacuum on the skin that gently pulls in muscle and tissue to draw out toxins, stagnancy, imbalances, stimulate blood flow in the surface layers of the muscles and Qi in the meridians. It may be added to the acupuncture treatment; cups may be left on for up to 20 minutes for optimal results. Cupping usually leave red or purple discolorations, marks, which then gradually disappear mostly after few hours up to several days. These marks indicate that stagnant fluids were successfully pulled to the surface of the skin for release.

Qi Gong is the art of practicing Jing (essence), Qi (energy) and Shen (spirit). The core of Qi Gong is to exercise Yi (consciousness) and Qi (life energy). The main purpose of these exercises is to regulate the internal functions of the human body. Qi Gong does this by developing consciousness and breathing, by inducing the internal manifestation of Qi in consciousness, and by moving and amplifying the inner Qi. The inner Qi is the Qi belonging to the human body itself. In this way, Qi Gong brings self-regulation and self-control to the most important organs.
